According to the latest report of the World Economic Forum, India has reached the 39th position in terms of tourism. America is on top
The US tops the list, but it is joined by countries like Spain, France, Australia and Japan. These five countries are on top in terms of tourism this year. Germany has secured the sixth position. Switzerland, Italy, China and the UK are also included in the top 10 list.
What is the ranking of Middle East countries?
In the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates tops the list with a ranking of 18. The UAE is followed by countries such as Saudi Arabia (41), Qatar (53) and Bahrain (18). In terms of tourism in the index, the top 30 countries in the index together contributed 75% of the world's travel and tourism economy in 2022. African countries are at the bottom of the list.
Ranking of India and Pakistan
Pakistan is ranked very poorly at 101. And this is also surprising because Pakistan got a very good ranking in the year 2022, at that time the country had moved from 89th to 83rd position. At the same time, the ranking of Nepal and Bangladesh is 105 and 109. India is ranked 39th in the index and Sri Lanka is ranked 76th.

According to TTDI, the ranking of the most popular countries for travel and tourism is decided on the basis of their business environment, travel policy, well-developed infrastructure as well as natural and cultural attractions. This index is prepared with the help of Surrey University of Britain. While deciding the list of the index, it is seen how suitable and comfortable the country is for travel and tourism.
