Playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore this season of IPL, Dinesh Karthik is making a lot of noise with the bat. He says that he will give his full strength to make a place in the T20 World Cup team. The 9th edition of the T20 World Cup will be held in the United States and West Indies from June 1. Karthik will be 39 years old by the World Cup.

Experienced right-handed wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik was part of the final stage of the T20 International World Cup in Australia in 2022, which was his last tournament for the Indian team. Since then he has become a cricket expert and has also started doing commentary. Making a comeback in this season of IPL, he has taken his batting to a new level and is batting brilliantly with a strike rate of more than 205. For Royal Challengers Bangalore, he is the third highest run scorer of the team with 226 runs after Virat Kohli (361) and captain Faf du Plessis (232).

Karthik said that coach Rahul Dravid, captain Rohit Sharma and selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar will respect whatever decision the 'big three' take. He said, 'I also think that there are three very good people in Rahul Dravid, Rohit Sharma and Ajit Agarkar who will decide what should be the best Indian team for the World Cup. Karthik has scored 226 runs in 6 innings for RCB in IPL this season while Pant has added 210 runs so far. KL Rahul has entered the race for Orange Cap by scoring 286 runs while Sanju Samson has also scored 276 runs. Ishan Kishan has added 192 runs.
