Randeep also spoke openly about his experience of shooting in Cellular Jail. He said that getting permission to shoot there was a 'difficult task' and the film would not have been made without that location. Randeep said- “I wanted to spend some time alone in Savarkar's room, so I asked to remain locked in it. I was fine for a while, but then, I felt like the walls were falling on me. I started shouting for help, but my voice did not go far. “I became claustrophobic, my breathing started becoming labored.”

When Randeep was asked if he ever spent a night in jail, he also talked openly about it and told that there used to be a 'terrible silence' at that place at night. There was no wind. But the location was never completely closed. All I could understand was that there used to be people here and now they are not there.
