The comeback wasn’t easy
The process of Hemant Soren becoming the Chief Minister again just before the assembly elections in Jharkhand was not very smooth. According to some JMM-Congress leaders, the change of power was not as smooth from inside as it looked from outside. Champai Soren was not ready to leave the CM post. He wanted to remain in his post till the elections. He was not very happy with the decision of JMM. On the other hand, Hemant Soren also did not want to become the CM himself by angering him just before the elections. In such a situation, the decision could not be taken in one meeting. After the first meeting, senior party leaders talked to Champai Soren separately, then he agreed. JMM had also taken the Congress leadership into confidence before this decision. Congress is a part of the government there. A JMM leader said that the same issue is being raised as once happened with Nitish Kumar in Bihar. Then he made Jitan Manjhi the CM in his place, but later when Manjhi was asked to leave the post, he was not ready for it. When Hemant Soren was arrested by ED in a case, he was replaced by old JMM leader Champai Soren as CM.

Why is there no GST data?
The central government decided that GST collection figures will no longer be released every month. It was also decided that the figures related to other tax collections will not be made public on a large scale. The reason behind this is being told to be the feedback received by the government, according to which the wrong message of increasing tax every month was being sent. People felt that the government was only collecting taxes. People were not connecting it to the success or development of the government. For the last few years, whether it is about GST tax collection or income tax collection, the government kept presenting the increase in it as its big success. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself mentioned it many times from public forums. But now the government has decided to avoid it. Especially the middle class people are angry that the government's entire focus is on tax collection, but they are not getting any benefit from it. They have now started comparing it with the tax during the UPA period. This is the reason why this time a big relief is expected in income tax in the first budget of the third term of the NDA government.

Message to Bihar BJP
The road ahead is going to be difficult for Bihar BJP state president Samrat Chaudhary. The central leadership is not happy with many of his decisions and behavior. Also, the party feels that after giving the command of the party in the state to Samrat Chaudhary, the benefits that were expected are not being received. On the contrary, it is only suffering losses. The biggest thing is that many old leaders of the party are angry with Samrat Chaudhary being given more importance. They argue that making a leader from another party so powerful in the party is bothering many people. Samrat Chaudhary came to BJP from RJD. In this election, Samrat Chaudhary was not successful in keeping the Kurmi-Kushwaha vote completely in favor of BJP. This is the reason that despite his reluctance, the central leadership of BJP decided to give one Rajya Sabha seat falling vacant from the state to Upendra Kushwaha. This indicated that BJP does not want to depend only on Samrat Chaudhary for Kushwaha leadership in the state. This has made the road ahead in Bihar difficult for Samrat Chaudhary, who recently took off his turban. However, he had vowed to wear a turban until Nitish Kumar was removed from the CM post. Nitish Kumar was with RJD at that time.

Pressure built for tickets
Just before the Haryana assembly elections, factionalism was once again seen in the Congress. This time Kumari Selja and Randeep Surjewala indirectly accused the Hooda faction of acting arbitrarily. They also urged the central leadership to intervene in the matter. After this, a party meeting was also held regarding the preparations for the Haryana elections. Later, another party leader said that both of them had pressurized the central leadership to distribute only a few tickets of their choice, in which they were successful to some extent. According to sources, they have been asked to give the names of their choice. But the guarantee of getting the ticket will be given only after getting ground feedback. The party has given the responsibility of handling the election management there to Sunil Konogulu and his team, whose survey-based feedback plays the most important role in giving tickets.

Decision time
Recently, the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh appointed Manoj Kumar as the new Chief Secretary. It was expected that Durga Shankar Mishra could get an extension there. It was being said that he is close to the central leadership. In such a situation, after an officer close to Yogi became the Chief Secretary, the discussion in the corridors of power intensified. This discussion in the political corridors increased further when a BJP leader said that the timing of the appointment was not right. At a time when the opposition is talking about Yogi versus the central leadership, such an appointment gives rise to speculation. However, contrary to these discussions, government sources claim that there was no communication gap between Delhi and Lucknow in the appointment. All this is mere speculation.
