Explaining the rationale behind pegging the target to 2047, Sitharaman elaborated, “The reason behind pegging it to 2047 is not because it is 100 years of independence, but because today we are in a position where the next 25 years are good and solid. We will be with 'Sabka Pyaar'. Able to reach him.”

“Kutchh in Gujarat is one of the largest renewable energy regions. Restoring the Indian economy in each of these sectors and now ensuring that India not only stands up in support of the services sector, which contributes over 62 per cent to our GDP, but also comes back to our manufacturing sector. Go. Motivate manufacturing to come out and contribute more,” Sitharaman said during her address.

Looking to 2047, Sitharaman stressed the need for growth of both services and manufacturing sectors and lauded Gujarat's policies and government ecosystem to facilitate this growth.

“So, in 2047 we need growth in services, we need to develop manufacturing well, Gujarat has that policy and the government and eco system is ready for it”, he remarked.
