Farida Jalal told India Today that she is very happy and emotional with the love she is getting in Heeramandi. But she is also sad because a scene has been cut. When Farida was asked if she would be in the second season of Heeramandi, she said that the bed scene between Kudsia Begum and Alamzeb in the first season is incomplete. It was cut during the final edit.

Farida told that according to the original scene, when Kudsia Begum comes to know that Alamzeb is pregnant, she orders medicine for him. Farida Jalal said that her desire to live is visible in that scene. But then why was her scene cut? She wants to know about this. The actress said that if they (the makers) felt that Kudsia had the desire to live, then they would have kept that scene in the film. But now it is her wish.
