In this video, Amit Shah is saying that election guarantees have no meaning, they speak till the elections and then forget. Regarding this video, it is being claimed on social media that Amit Shah is saying this for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. When this viral video was investigated, it was found that this is not the entire video but a few seconds of it, which is being shared with a false claim.

A user shared the video on social media platform X (Twitter) and wrote, 'Amit Shah had coined the phrase, now he is saying that even the guarantee has no meaning. He talks till the elections and then forgets. Overall, he himself wants to occupy the Prime Minister's chair. First he trapped Modi in the name of Jumla, now he has also promised a guarantee.'

Investigation of such viral videos
To investigate the viral video of Amit Shah, the key frames of the video were reverse image searched on Google using Invid tool. We found a video of Amit Shah's interview dated May 15, 2004 on the YouTube channel of news agency ANI. The viral video has been cropped from this.

At 25 minutes 14 seconds in the video, Amit Shah is asked a question about the Congress guarantee that you have called the Congress guarantee a Chinese guarantee.

In response to the anchor's question, Amit Shah says, 'I just went to Telangana, the women there are waiting for their 12,000 rupees to arrive. The farmers there are waiting for the loan waiver of 2 lakh rupees. The girls there are waiting for scooters. Rahul ji had promised, he had guaranteed, you find Rahul ji.'

Our investigation revealed that the video going viral on social media is cropped and is being shared with a false claim. In the original video, Home Minister Amit Shah was targeting the Congress.
