Guy Whittle's Chikara saved his life Whittle narrowly escapes leopard attack

New Delhi. It is said that a dog is as intelligent an animal as it is loyal. When it comes to man's best friend, dogs come first. This animal is so loyal that it risks its life at a single gesture from its owner. Former Zimbabwe all-rounder Guy Whittle's life was saved because of a dog. Whittle was attacked by a leopard. After this, Whittle's pet dog Chikara risked his life. The gazelle faced the leopard boldly. He saved his master's life by biting the leopard. Whittle's wife has shared a photo of her husband in which he is seen in a bad condition. He was immediately admitted to the hospital where he is out of danger.

51-year-old Guy Whittall was attacked by a leopard while he was out trekking. His dog Chikara was also with him. Suddenly the leopard attacked Whittle. After which Chikara risked his life to save his master's life. The gazelle clashed with the leopard. To free the owner from the leopard's clutches, he bit the leopard at several places. Then the leopard released Whittle. However, by then Whittle had lost a lot of blood. He was immediately airlifted and admitted to hospital in Harare. This information was given by Whittle's wife Hannah.

8 feet long crocodile had come under the bed
Earlier in 2021, an approximately 8-foot long crocodile had come under Guy Whittle's bed. The crocodile remained lying under Whittle's bed the whole night. Although he did not harm Whittle. It was fortunate that even at that time his life was narrowly saved.

Guy Whittle played 46 Test and 147 One Day International matches for Zimbabwe. He scored 2207 runs in the Test at an average of 29.42 which included 4 centuries and 10 half-centuries. His best score was 203 runs not out. Whittle, who has scored 2705 runs in ODIs, has 11 half-centuries in his name. Whittle played as a batting all-rounder. With his medium pace bowling, he took 51 wickets in Tests while he has 88 wickets in his name in ODIs.
