BSF Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024: Post and Educational Qualification

Through this recruitment of BSF, 2 posts of Assistant Commandant and 7 posts of Deputy Commandant (Junior Maintenance Engineer) will be filled. Educational qualifications for applying to both the posts have been set differently. For Assistant Commandant (Electrical), candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute. For Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant), candidates must have graduation in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Examination License and three years of experience.

The maximum age of the candidates to participate in this recruitment should be 35 years. Candidates above this age are not eligible for these posts. Talking about physical eligibility, height and weight measurements have been given for both male and female candidates.

BSF Commandant Vacancy 2024: Selection Process

To get selected for the post of Assistant Commandant (Electrical) and Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant), the candidates will have to go through mainly three stages. There will be two written examinations in the first stage. Objective type questions of 100 marks will be asked in the first paper. Which will have questions from General English, General Awareness, Reasoning and Maths. Whereas for the posts of Aircraft Engineering, questions will be asked from technical subjects instead of Maths. Subjective type questions will be asked in the second paper. In which the candidates will have to give written answers to 10 questions in 2 hours. The second stage will have documentation, PST and oral examination. In the last stage, the selected candidates will be called for interview. After which there will also be a medical test.

BSF Group B and Group C Recruitment 2024: Apply by June 17

Apart from this recruitment of BSF, the application process for the posts of Group B and C is already underway. Candidates can apply for these posts till June 17. This includes posts ranging from Inspector Librarian, Sub Inspector SI Staff Nurse, ASI Lab Technician, SI Physiotherapist to Head Constable.
