The film city is spread over 230 acres along the Yamuna Expressway and now it has become clear that this film city, which comes under the purview of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, will be operated by Boney Kapoor's company for the next 99 years. According to the Times of India report, apart from other facilities, the film city will also have a film university, a cinema museum and a helipad. These companies made their presentations in June

Super Cassettes Industries Pvt Ltd (T-Series), Supersonic Technobuild Pvt Ltd (backed by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films LLP and others), Bayview Projects LLP (backed by Boney Kapoor, real estate company Bhutani Group and Noida Cyber Park) and 4 Lions Films Pvt Ltd (backed by filmmaker KC Bokadia and others) had made their presentation for the greenfield project before Uttar Pradesh government officials in June.

Maximum Revenue Sharing Proposal

The project is being developed on the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. Boney Kapoor's company 'Bayview Projects LLB' emerged as the company offering the highest revenue share to the state government and thus his company was selected as the developer for the greenfield project. Bids for the project were invited on September 30, 2023, with a deadline of January 5, 2024. In June, bids were invited for the third time for the development of the film city, as the previous two attempts were not successful in attracting investors.

After signing, there will be 6 months to start construction

Bayview Projects LLP will now sign the concession agreement with the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority in June to take possession of the land. They will have six months to start construction after signing the agreement.

Just 6km away from Noida International Airport
