Manoj Bajpayee's 'Bhaiya Ji' released with great enthusiasm on Friday, but in the first weekend itself, its roar has become like a wet cat. The film disappointed on the opening day on Friday, but it was expected that it would bounce back on Sunday. But sadly it did not happen. In comparison, the business of 17-day-old Rajkumar Rao's 'Shrikant' has grown tremendously. This film has earned 104 percent more on Sunday than Friday. 'Bhaiya Ji', directed by 'Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai' fame Apoorv Singh Karki, is a crime-drama. Manoj Bajpayee is in an action avatar in the film. According to the report of sacnilk, this film has made a net collection of Rs 1.90 crore on Sunday. The film earned Rs 1.35 crore on the opening day on Friday and then Rs 1.75 crore on the second day, Saturday. In this way, the total collection of 'Bhaiya Ji' in three days has become Rs 5.00 crore.

It is difficult to gather budget for 'Bhaiya Ji'!

The budget of 'Bhaiya Ji' is said to be Rs 20 crore. This is Manoj Bajpayee's 100th film and he is also the producer of this film. The problem is that this film has been made keeping in mind single screen theatres and small towns. But Manoj Bajpayee's emphasis on the action genre in small towns is not such that the audience will form long queues in front of the theatres. The real thrill of this film will start from the fourth day i.e. Monday. It remains to be seen how much it is able to earn in the scorching heat and working days.

'Srikanth' earned more than 'Bhaiya Ji' in the third weekend

On the other hand, 'Srikant', directed by Tushar Hiranandani, has spread amazing magic. It seemed that this two-week-old film would get tired after the release of 'Bhaiya Ji'. But its earnings have increased tremendously in the third weekend. It has surprised everyone by doing a business of Rs 5.60 crore in the last three days. On the 17th day i.e. Sunday, it has done a business of Rs 2.35 crore.

Why is the box office cold in this scorching heat, apart from Karthik's film, there is no film of any superstar in May-June?

'Srikanth' will become a hit before next Sunday!

The budget of 'Srikanth', the biopic of visually challenged businessman Shrikant, is Rs 40 crore. The film has collected a net of Rs 37.10 crore in the country in 17 days. The film has a strong hold at the ticket window, so it is expected that before its fourth weekend, the film will start earning more profit than its cost and prove to be a hit.
