First question- How will the bridal package be?
You might have already selected the parlor for your bridal makeup, but have you asked your makeup artist, 'What products are included in my bridal package and which brand of products are you going to use?'
If you have not asked this question yet, then ask it today, because if the product is not according to your skin type and tone, then there are high chances of your makeup getting spoiled. (Photo courtesy: Pixabay)
Second question- Match makeup with the outfit.
To ensure your makeup doesn't look odd on the wedding day, ask your makeup artist, 'Can you match the makeup products with my outfit and show me the end result?'
This will also give you an idea of how your makeover is going to be on the wedding day. Apart from this, you can take the help of dupatta or blouse for better results of the look. (Photo courtesy: istock)
Third question- Makeup trial session
A trial is given by the makeup artist before getting ready and going straight to the wedding. If you are not aware of this then ask your parlor owner, 'Do you offer makeup trial sessions on booking? Also gives full coverage during this period? If they refuse then convince them otherwise change the makeup artist. (Photo Courtesy: Pixabay)
Fourth question- booking of bridesmaids
When it comes to marriage, bridesmaids also come along with the bride for makeup. In such a situation, we have to think about them as well as our makeup. So first of all count the number of people going to the parlor with you and then ask the makeup artist if she can provide service to so many girls?
This will also give you an idea of their capacity and if they say a lesser number, you can book them just for your few bridesmaids. (Photo Courtesy: Pixabay)
Fifth question- Bride's skin care routine
Mostly it happens that a skin care routine is followed before bridal makeup, in which the bride's skin is prepared for makeup. This makes the skin look clean, bright and shiny before the wedding.
So ask your makeup artist, 'Would you recommend doing any skin prep before bridal makeup?' If yes, what could that be and when do you need to start? (Photo courtesy: istock)
Sixth question- Ask about booking cancellation
Many times it also happens that after booking at one place, you get a good offer at a lesser price in another parlor. In such a situation, if you cancel the first booking, you may have to face many problems like money being deducted or not getting cancelled. Therefore, know the process of booking cancellation from your makeup artist. (Photo courtesy: Pixabay)
