New Delhi. Although cricket itself is considered a 'batsman's game', but in the T20 format, the dominance of the batsmen is so much that the bowlers are seen struggling badly. Bowling an over maiden in T20 format is a big achievement for any bowler. So far only five bowlers have been able to bowl more than 10 maiden overs in T20 International cricket, two Indians are included in this. The interesting thing is that the record of bowling the most number of maiden overs (15) in T20I is in the name of a bowler whose name would not be familiar to most of the cricket lovers. There is a valid reason for this also. This record is in the name of Frank Nsubuga of Uganda, an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

ICC currently has 108 member countries, including 12 full members and 96 associate members. England, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Ireland and Afghanistan are former members who play Test matches and have full voting rights. On the other hand, there are 96 associate members who have not been given full membership yet. Among the bowlers who have bowled 10 or more maiden overs in T20I, there are three bowlers from Associate Members and two bowlers from Full Member countries.
