Talking about 'Maharaj', it is inspired by the 1862 Maharaj defamation case. It revolves around a religious leader who sued a newspaper that accused him of having inappropriate relations with his female followers. Junaid reportedly plays a journalist in the film.

Talking about her experience of working with Junaid Khan, Shalini Pandey told News 18, 'Junaid is a very easy-going person. It was a good experience working with him. We are of the same age group, so we had a lot of fun while shooting. 'Maharaj' is one of the first few projects of his and mine. So our energy on the set was exactly the same.
Shooting was done in Japan with Sai Pallavi
It is known that Aamir Khan is producing his son Junaid's second film. A few days ago, BTS pictures from the set went viral on social media, in which Sai Pallavi and Junaid were seen at the beautiful location of Sapporo Snow Festival in Japan. If reports are to be believed, Junaid and the entire team continued shooting despite bad weather. The team worked for 12 to 14 hours.
Junaid is the son of Aamir and Reena.
It is known that Junaid is the eldest son of Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta. Aamir and Reena also have a daughter named Aira. Aamir had a second marriage with Kiran Rao. They have a son Azad, who was born through surrogacy. Aamir and Kiran have also separated.
