The Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gangs were allegedly considering using minors to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan, police said. During its investigation, the Navi Mumbai police unearthed a plot to murder the actor by revealing a video call conversation between Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Ajay Kashyap and another accused.

According to the conversations, 'sharpshooters' trained in using modern weapons were present in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Raigad and Gujarat on the orders of Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar.

It was directed against use by minors under the age of 18.

Sharpshooters Anmol Bishnoi and Rohit Godara were instructed by Goldy Brar to carry out the attack and use minors below the age of 18 for the job, officials said, citing the FIR.

According to the FIR, a man named John was allegedly given the responsibility of providing the vehicle for this work.

After the attack, the gang members were to regroup in Kanyakumari and then travel by sea to Sri Lanka. From there, they were to be sent to other countries where Canada-based gangster Anmol Bishnoi was arranging their travel, officials said.
A case was registered against 17 accused and others at the Panvel Town police station on April 24 after receiving specific information about a conspiracy to murder Khan.
