Cricketer trapped in the clutches of a thug
Ghaziabad's young cricketer Yash Kumar Kushwaha has fallen prey to a fraudster and is now making rounds of Ghaziabad police stations. The fraudster duped the cricketer of Rs 9.75 lakh in the name of getting him selected in Team India. In a case registered at Crossing Republic police station, the cricketer has accused a person from Andhra Pradesh of duping him of Rs 9.81 lakh. Ghaziabad police is now investigating the case, but difficulties have started arising as the fraudster is from Andhra Pradesh.

Cricketer Yash Kumar Kushwaha is a resident of Shanti Nagar, Crossing Republic, Ghaziabad. In the complaint given to the police, the boy has told that he is a young cricketer. A few months ago, he played for the Mega City team in the two-day cricket league organized by the Cricket Association in Hyderabad. During this time, he met a person named Apparao Reddy, a resident of Telangana, in Hyderabad, who introduced himself as a big officer of BCCI. He talked about playing in Team India, IPL and Ranji. In return, he asked me for 10 lakh rupees. I gave him 9.81 lakh rupees.

When he did not select me in any team in Ranji or IPL for many months, I started asking for money. Every time he kept postponing it by saying that he will get me selected in the next season. But when he did not select me in any team or Team India, I started asking for money again. When I pressed him, he said that if you mention this anywhere, I will ruin your cricket career. Due to this fear, I remained silent for many months, but now I have filed a case.
