She recently recalled an incident from her wedding and revealed how much money she paid Alia's girl gang to get back her shoes during the 'shoe theft' ceremony. Ranbir revealed this in Kapil Sharma's 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', which premiered on Saturday, March 31 on Netflix.

Kapil Sharma asked Ranbir if it was true that he had given a few crores of rupees to Alia's sisters. In response Ranbir said- “No. it is not true.” “We gave him some cash,” said his mother, Neetu. Ranbir said that he had demanded lakhs, but he had reduced it to “a few thousand”. When Archana Puran Singh said that the amount was too small, Ranbir justified it by saying that they got married in a small ceremony at his house.

Ranbir Kapoor was seen in the show with his mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. During this, Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir-Riddhima also remembered late Rishi Kapoor. Neetu Kapoor also told how even when the children were abroad, Rishi Kapoor used to give them only a limited amount, so that both his children understood the importance of money. Apart from this, he told that it was Rishi Kapoor who taught both the children to remain calm and he never spoke loudly to his children.
