There will be a total of 450 polling stations across the state in which youth workers will be appointed. These youth workers have been trained about the responsibilities of the voting process at the polling station on the day of polling. There are young employees in various departments in the service of the state government. All such youth workers have been given the task of Lok Sabha elections. Youth workers have been appointed at each polling station with different responsibilities. The Election Commission has taken the initiative to implement new activities from this year to encourage young voters. Accordingly, it has been emphasized that at least one polling station in every district should be manned by youth workers.

Youth workers will have control over maximum 36 polling stations in Thane district. 30 youth activist-controlled polling stations in Ratnagiri and Nashik, 29 in Latur and 26 in Mumbai suburbs. Washim, Hingoli, Gadchiroli and Satara districts have the least number of youth worker managed polling stations, with 3 centers each, while Nandurbar district has 4 youth worker managed polling stations.

This time women will control 440 polling stations in the state. A total of 254 polling stations will be controlled by disabled employees.
