PM Modi, on his visit to Srinagar, addressed a public rally and inaugurated development projects amounting to ₹6,400 crore. Speaking to ANI, Aziz, an ardent admirer of the Prime Minister, shared, “I heard that Modiji is arriving in Kashmir. I thought of singing something for him. I am his huge fan. I have been influenced by his style of work. It took me one week to compose the song.”

Aziz further expressed his joy and high expectations from PM Modi’s visit, emphasizing the challenges faced by the region, including unemployment, healthcare issues in Anantnag, and the growing concern of youth involvement in substance abuse. He hopes that the Prime Minister’s visit will address and rectify these pressing issues.

In a significant moment during his visit, PM Modi unveiled multiple development projects, emphasizing a total investment of ₹6,400 crore in the region. Addressing the gathering at Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium, Modi criticized the Opposition, particularly the Congress, accusing them of misleading the people over the now-abrogated Article 370.

“For decades, the Congress and its allies misled the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the country for political gains in the name of Article 370. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are now aware of the truth about whether Jammu and Kashmir benefited from Article 370 or only a few families took advantage of it. The talent of Jammu and Kashmir is getting its due respect today as there is no Article 370 now,” Modi said.

This event marks PM Modi’s first visit to Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370, underlining the government’s commitment to the development and progress of the region.
