'You listen to me, I am in charge of this court room…' when the Chief Justice warned the lawyer during the hearing of the NEET case

New Delhi: Supreme Court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud took a tough stand on the interference of a lawyer during the hearing of the NEET case and warned him that if he argued in between without waiting for his turn, he would show him the way out of the court. Actually, when the NEET case was being heard, a lawyer tried to argue in front of the Chief Justice's bench without his turn coming. Then the Chief Justice warned him that he would not allow interference like this. He would not allow the lawyer to dictate. Lawyer MJ Nedumpara kept asking for permission to argue.

Chief Justice gave a strict warning

During this time, he was told that he would be given a chance after the arguments of senior advocate Narendra Hooda. But when Nedumpara repeatedly demanded arguments, Chief Justice Chandrachud told Nedumpara to sit down. Otherwise, we will throw you out of the court. The Chief Justice said in a strict tone that we are warning you. Then Nedumpara said that if this is the case, he will leave on his own. But during this time he kept complaining that he was not given a chance. Then the Chief Justice said that please call the security. We will ask them to throw him out.

“You listen to me, I'm in charge of this courtroom.”

The Chief Justice said that you are not standing on the streets and talking. You listen to me, I am in charge of this court room. Then Nedumpara said that we are leaving the court but this is inappropriate. Then the Chief Justice again said that Mr. (Advocate) please keep quiet or else we will pass some order which will not look good. You sit down. If you want to leave then you can go, it is your wish. Nedumpara himself went out of the court. Then after some time he came back and said in front of the court that I am sorry but I did not do anything wrong and then when his turn came, he presented his arguments.
