New Delhi: Bangladesh Air Force will also participate in the multinational exercise Tarang Shakti of the Indian Air Force. The Bangladesh team will participate in this exercise with its C-130J aircraft. Tarang Shakti exercise is a multinational joint exercise hosted by the Indian Air Force. The first phase of the exercise has been completed from 6 August to 14 August and now the second phase is to be held in Jodhpur from 29 August to 14 September. Bangladesh Air Force will also participate in the second phase.

Bangladesh's participation in the Tarang Shakti exercise was doubtful after the political turmoil in Bangladesh. But now Bangladesh has informed that its team will participate in this exercise. In the first phase of Tarang Shakti, the air forces of France, Germany, Spain and the UK participated with their aircraft. In the second phase, Australia, Greece, Singapore, UAE, Bangladesh and the US will participate.

The second phase of the exercise will also include 27 fighter aircraft, 2 tankers, 2 Airborne Early Warning and Control Systems, 3 Special Forces aircraft from other countries. Including India's fighter aircraft, there will be a total of 40 fighter aircraft, helicopters including Prachand, Rudra, Apache. In total, 75 aircraft will be involved in the second phase.
