With this win, England's team has come closer to reaching the semi-finals. For this, they just have to win one more match. However, this will also depend on their net run rate. If their net run rate is better than the top teams, then their reaching the semi-finals will be certain. Now it remains to be seen whether they are able to win even one of the remaining 2 matches or not. England's next match will be against South Africa.
