New Delhi : For the first time, India has strongly criticized Israel for the attacks in Gaza. Till now there was no such statement directly from India. However, this issue was raised in the meeting of BRICS countries. In a joint statement issued after this meeting in Russia, BRICS foreign ministers raised questions about Israel's action on Palestine. In the meeting, concern was expressed over the deteriorating situation in the Palestinian territory, especially the increase in violence in the Gaza Strip. As a result, the Israeli military operation led to large-scale displacement of civilians, many people were killed and infrastructure was damaged. This is a disregard of international laws.
