Why did Kejriwal touch BJP's sore spot? From claims on Yogi to the meaning of questions to Bhagwat

New Delhi : Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has once again targeted BJP as a part of strategy. After stepping down from the post of Delhi CM, Kejriwal cornered PM Modi through Janta Ki Adalat public meeting at Jantar Mantar. Kejriwal asked five questions to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. This time Kejriwal has tried to corner PM Modi through RSS. Kejriwal tried to belittle Modi by saying that he is the RSS chief and he should keep his children under control.

Kejriwal's five questions

Kejriwal asked RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat five questions. One of these questions was whether the BJP's rule regarding retirement age applies to Modi as it did to LK Advani. He asked Bhagwat whether he agrees with the BJP's politics in which it calls leaders 'corrupt' and includes them in its camp. In the second question, Kejriwal asked Bhagwat how he felt when BJP chief JP Nadda said that his party does not need its ideological guide RSS. Kejriwal asked whether the son has grown so much now that he is challenging his mother? In fact, BJP often seems uncomfortable with Kejriwal's questions. On 75 years of rule, Amit Shah has also said that this is not a written rule.

Claim made to remove Yogi from the post

This is not the first time that Kejriwal has made an uncomfortable allegation against the BJP. During the Lok Sabha elections in May, Kejriwal had alleged that the BJP would remove CM Yogi within two months after the Lok Sabha elections. He had said that PM Modi was seeking votes to make Amit Shah the Prime Minister. However, everyone from Yogi to PM Modi had clarified this allegation. The situation was such that Amit Shah had to hold a press conference on this issue. Despite this, the performance of the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections was much less than expected. The party won only 33 out of 80 seats in the state. Earlier in the 2019 elections, the party had won 62 seats. Yogi Adityanath's supporters also said that Delhi fought the elections on its own terms. Yogi Adityanath was ignored in ticket distribution. Many political analysts believed that the effect of this claim of Kejriwal was clearly visible on the Lok Sabha elections in UP.

There is a lot of tension within the BJP. The Prime Minister wants Amit Shah to be his successor. Others do not want this. This is being discussed in hushed tones across the country. The next name is Yogi Adityanath. He will change the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh within 2 months.

Why does Kejriwal attack only the sore spot?

For some time now, Kejriwal has been following the strategy of touching the BJP's sore spot. It is common discussion in political circles that for some time now, everything is not going well in the relationship between RSS and BJP. It started with the statement of the party's national president JP Nadda in which he said that BJP no longer needs RSS. After this, the RSS chief has also spoken about ideal politicians many times. This indicated that Mohan Bhagwat is indirectly talking about PM Modi. Now Kejriwal has created an uncomfortable situation for the BJP through five questions. This is exactly the same situation as happened about four months ago after the allegations against Yogi Adityanath. Kejriwal knows that BJP avoids saying anything directly on these issues. Now since BJP is attacking Kejriwal on corruption, the AAP chief has touched the BJP's sore spot.
