Wear heavy jewellery to get a Banjara look
Two years ago, Urmila had told in the reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' that she wore so much jewellery to get the Banjara look in the film. When she was doing a photo session for the song, Rajkumar Santoshi had also asked her not to wear too much jewellery. Then the actress did not change her look saying that it is necessary to be like a Banjara. Which she later regretted during the shooting.
This is how I styled 15kg of jewellery
Haseena's jewellery weighed 15 kg. She wore it on her head, neck, hands and feet. She made a braid by partitioning her hair from the middle and then wore a matha patti. In which many small bells were hanging and there was also a bodla on top. Under this double layer matha patti, she also wore an accessory with colorful beads and her earrings were also very heavy.
Similarly, she wore a huge necklace with a choker made of pearls around her neck, which was as long as the length of her blouse. The bracelets worn on her hands had embossed designs and she also wore many rings on her hands. Apart from this, armlets on both hands and anklets on her feet completed her makeup, but she had gained a lot of weight.
This was a 5 kg lehenga
Now when the jewellery was so heavy and fabulous, how could the clothes be lacking. In such a situation, she wore a 5 kg heavy Ghagra Choli of black and red. Whose half sleeves choli is red in colour and has a black border. The black lehenga has a purple border with red and stars and mirrors are also attached. Due to which her whole look is coming out bright and has also become heavy.
Special care was also taken of makeup
Urmila also paid special attention to makeup to make this look perfect. She made an arrow-like design on the side of the eyes in Banjara style and also put three bindis on the chin. Apart from this, black bindi, glossy eyeshadow with eyeliner and pink lips looked perfect. In this way, her look came out beautiful.
Got hurt a lot during the shooting
With the help of clothes, jewellery and makeup, Urmila achieved the perfect banjara look, but she also suffered a lot of injuries. By the time the song was over, she had scratches all over her body and cried a lot. Not only this, during the shooting, whenever she turned her face, her earrings would hurt her, which felt like a strong slap. But, when people gave immense love to the song, she forgot all her pain.
