Indian Army JAG Entry 2025: A big officer level vacancy is going to come out in the Judge Advocate General branch under JAG entry in the Indian Army. Online applications will be invited from eligible female and male candidates in the JAG Entry 34th Course Scheme. After the notification is released, candidates will be able to apply for this vacancy from July 15 by visiting the official website of the Indian Army, joinindianarmy.nic.in. The last date for filling the application form is August 13. After this, the window for submitting the online application form will close.

Army JAG Entry 2025 Eligibility: Educational Qualification

Through the Judge Advocate General (JAG Entry) entrance exam, candidates are selected directly for legal officers in the Indian Army. To apply in this recruitment, candidates must have a three or five-year LLB degree with a minimum of 55 percent marks. Also, candidates must have passed the Common Law Admission Test CLAT PG 2024 exam. Apart from law and CLAT, applicants must also be registered with the Bar Council of India or State Bar Council.

Law Government Jobs: Age Limit

To fill the form for Army JAG Entry, the age of the candidates should be minimum 21 years and maximum 27 years. This is the age limit for candidates of all categories as reserved categories do not get any age relaxation in this recruitment. Candidates who become officers in this Short Service Commission recruitment serve in the army for 10 years. After this, their tenure is extended for another 4 years.

JAG entry provides a great opportunity for law graduates to join the army. After getting selected, candidates undergo training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA). Later, appointments are made according to different ranks. The salary of the candidates is also determined according to their rank. At first, candidates get the rank of Lieutenant. After this, they can get promoted and reach the rank of Major General and Brigadier.
