'36 Days' web series review
All the characters in this eight-episode series have their own dark secrets, but these characters are so boring and their lives are so dull that there is no curiosity to know about them. On top of that, the screenplay is so dull that one feels like watching it in fast forward. There is no edge in the direction as well. There is no thrill in the first two-three episodes. There is repetition in the scenes as well. Some interest has been aroused in the story from the fourth episode, but no revelation surprises.
Talking about acting, Chandan Roy Sanyal has looked good in a negative role here too. Amrita, Sushant and Shernaz have done justice to their characters, while Purab, Shruti Seth, Sharib Hashmi have looked decent. However, their characters have not been given much detail. On the other hand, despite being the main attraction, Neha did not have much to do except looking glamorous.
Apart from this, technical aspects like cinematography, setting, background score etc. contribute in making the atmosphere mysterious but due to weak story they are unable to create any thrill.
Why watch- If you want to watch a crime thriller in fast forward in your spare time, check this one out.
