Orange alert issued for heavy rain in Delhi for three days

Heavy rain in Himachal too

Rain warning in Rajasthan
Heavy rain is expected in Rajasthan in the coming days due to monsoon. According to the Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with thundershowers was recorded at some places in the state and heavy rain was recorded at some places. During this period, the highest rainfall of 72.3 mm was recorded in Raisinghnagar of western Rajasthan and 68 mm in Kaman (Bharatpur) of eastern Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in some parts of eastern Rajasthan in the next few days.

The IMD also said that the southwest monsoon has further advanced into the remaining parts of east Uttar Pradesh and some parts of west Uttar Pradesh. The IMD said that conditions are favourable for further advance of monsoon into most parts of west Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and remaining parts of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu during the next two to three days.
