We express regret, and will remain vigilant.. Know what Vikas Divyakirti said on the Delhi coaching incident

New Delhi : The famous coaching institute Drishti Vision has given a clarification on the incident of death of 3 students in the basement of the coaching institute located in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. Drishti's owner and famous teacher Vikas Divyakirti has apologized for the delay in reacting to the incident. Vikas Divyakirti expressed regret over the incident and said that we are sorry that we delayed in presenting our side. Actually, we did not want to say anything on the basis of incomplete information. We apologize wholeheartedly for this delay.

Ready to cooperate

Vikas Divyakirti said that we do not have direct acquaintance with the families of the children, but we are completely with them in this hour of grief. If we can do something for them in any way, we will be grateful. Divyakirti said that the anger among the students regarding this accident is completely justified. If this anger gets the right direction and the government implements some guidelines for coaching institutes, it will be very good. In this regard, we are ready to actively cooperate with the government.

Contradictions in the rules noted

Vikas Divyakirti said that this problem related to coaching institutes is not as simple as it appears on the surface. It has many aspects which are related to the ambiguity and contradiction of the laws. There is inconsistency in the rules of DDA, MCD and Delhi Fire Department. Similarly, there is a lot of contradiction in the provisions of 'Delhi Master Plan-2021', 'National Building Code', 'Delhi Fire Rules' and 'Unified Building By-Laws'.

He said that except the 'Delhi Master Plan-2021', no document has given clear provisions for coaching institutes. It is expected that when the committee appointed by the Union Home Ministry submits its report in a month, most of the above mentioned points will be resolved in it.

Be aware of the safety of students

Vikas Divyakirti said that we can say with full confidence that Team Drishti is extremely cautious about the safety of the students. He said that the buildings in which we have classes have at least two entry and exit routes so that in case of any emergency, the children can come out safely. Vikas Divyakirti said that the comprehensive action taken by the Delhi Municipal Corporation in the last few days is welcome.
