To apply for the post of Geologist Group A, candidates must have a degree in Geological Science/Applied Geology/Geo Exploration/Mineral Exploration/Engineering Geology/Marine Geology etc. from a recognized university. Candidates who have done Masters in Science subjects can fill the form for the post of Geophysicist Group A. For Chemist Group A and Scientist B, one must have a degree of MSc Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry. Geology Government Jobs: Age Limit
- Age Limit- To apply in this recruitment, the minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years and maximum age should be 32 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1st January 2025.
- Application Fee- During application, candidates of General/OBC category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. Whereas there is no fee for women and other reserved category candidates.
- Pre and Mains Exam Date- The pre-exam for UPSC Geologist Recruitment will be held on 09 February 2025. The main exam will be held on 21-22 June 2025.
