Exam Details and Scholarship Benefits
The NMMS scholarship examination is scheduled for November 5, 2023. Successful candidates will receive an annual scholarship of Rs 12,000 from Class 9 to 12. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be in Class 8 and enrolled in a government, government-aided, or local body council school.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the UP NMMS Scholarship 2023, students must meet the following criteria:
- The total annual family income should not exceed Rs 3,50,000.
- Students who have cleared the Class 7 examination in the academic year 2022-23 with a minimum of 55% of total marks are eligible to apply.
- Students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) will have a 5% relaxation in the minimum passing marks.
- Students enrolled in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Sainik School, government residential institutions, or private schools are not eligible to take the exam.
