UGC NET 2024: New subject added in UGGC NET subject list, syllabus also released on ugcnet.nta

UGC NET Disaster Management Syllabus Uploaded

UGC says that based on the recommendation of the committee, the subject of disaster management has been included in the UGC NET exam. The University Grants Commission has also prepared the syllabus of the disaster management course, which has been uploaded on the UGC NET website www.ugcnetonline.in and ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

If the students preparing for UGC NET for December 2024 want to choose Disaster Management subject then the syllabus has been released for them. They can prepare themselves on the basis of this syllabus.

Natural disasters, man-made disasters, fire disaster safety, water in emergency situation, sanitation, urban planning issues have been added in the disaster management course, which aims to reduce the risk in India. By studying this subject, people can be made aware that how we can save our environment so that the risk of disasters is reduced. People are troubled by floods at some places and extreme heat at other places. Messing with the environment is proving to be costly for the people. Along with development plans, measures to save the environment will also have to be taken.

UGC NET Subject List: More subjects are being added

Sources say that keeping in mind the needs of the time, new subjects are being added to the UGC NET exam and it is possible that some more subjects may also get approval in the coming time. At present, 83 subjects are examined in the NET exam and after the disaster management subject, the total number of subjects has become 84.

A senior UGC official says that the inclusion of disaster management subject in the syllabus is an important step taken in the right direction and it is expected that a large number of students will benefit from it. The commission is implementing important recommendations regarding the UGC NET exam. The syllabus of UGC NET is also being reviewed.

UGC NET 2024 exam today

The UGC NET 2024 exam is being conducted on Tuesday. Earlier this exam was to be held on June 16, but keeping in mind the preliminary examination of UPSC, now UGC-NET 2024 has been organized on June 18. This time this exam has been conducted in OMR mode (pen and paper pattern) in a single day.

NTA conducts NET examination for the appointment of Assistant Professors in universities and colleges and for Junior Research Fellowship. This time admission to PhD courses in universities and higher education institutions of the country will be based on UGC NET marks. UGC is now focusing more on a single national entrance exam. Under this, admission to PhD will be possible on the basis of UGC NET score.
