Top Colleges 2025: 100 top MBA colleges in the world, IIM of India got this number, new global ranking released

IIM Bangalore ranked 48th in top India:

Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are considered the best in the country for management studies and this is being proved at the global level as well. In the QS ranking, IIM Bangalore tops the list with 53rd rank, while IIM Ahmedabad is at 60th position. IIM Calcutta has secured 65th rank. Indian School of Business is at 86th rank.
This year, the ranking of these IIMs has declined slightly. However, four Indian business schools are included in the top 100 globally. In the ranking given for employment, all three IIMs have got a place in the top 50. Among the new institutes to get a place in the QS ranking, IIM Kozhikode has made its debut in the 151-200 band, while Institute of Management Technology- Ghaziabad and Somaiya Vidyavihar University are included in the 251 plus band.
The Global MBA Rankings 2025 analysed 340 best global MBA programmes and master's degrees from 58 countries and territories. These include master's degrees in management, finance, marketing, business analytics and supply chain management. IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta have performed strongly from an employability and alumni impact perspective.

India Full-time MBA Programs:

Apart from the four business schools that feature in the top 100, 10 more business schools have made it to the QS World Rankings. These include IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow and IIM Udaipur, which are in the 151-200 band in the 2025 rankings. Xavier School of Management has been ranked 201-250. International Management Institute is also in the 201-250 list. Management Development Institute Gurgaon is in the 201-250 list.

What was the score regarding employment:

In the global ranking on the basis of employability, IIM Bangalore has been ranked 33rd with a score of 70.7 percent. IIM Calcutta has been ranked 34th with a score of 68.3 percent and IIM Ahmedabad has been ranked 47th with a score of 64.5 percent. Indian School of Business has been ranked 72nd with a score of 54.5 percent.

Global ranking:

Stanford School of America is at number one globally. The first four positions are occupied by American business schools. London Business School of UK is at number five. HEC Paris School of France is at number six. Cambridge School of UK is at number seven. Columbia Business School of America is at number eight. After that are two schools from Spain. A French school is at number 11. After that are American business schools at six positions. At the last position in the top 20 is SDA School of Management of Italy.
