Tomorrow i.e. on 26th September, there is a possibility of rain in many states including Delhi-NCR, UP, Rajasthan, Odisha, Maharashtra. There may be rain in many other places including North Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Light to moderate rain is expected in Konkan and Goa, Gujarat region, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada in the next two days.
Badra will rain again in Delhi
There is good news for Delhiites troubled by heat and humidity. The city faced severe heat on Wednesday morning. The minimum temperature in the morning was recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius, about three degrees above normal. However, tomorrow i.e. on September 26, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain throughout the day. This is expected to bring down the temperature. The IMD indicated that many areas will remain cloudy and there may be light rain or drizzle. According to the IMD website, the humidity level was recorded at 84 percent at 8:30 am on Wednesday. The maximum temperature is expected to be 36 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

'Yellow' alert issued for rain in Himachal Pradesh
The weather in Himachal Pradesh has remained mainly dry for the last three days. 23 roads in the state are still closed for traffic. The local meteorological department said on Tuesday that there has been a 21 percent decrease in rainfall from June 1 to September 24 in the current monsoon season. Himachal Pradesh received 573.70 mm of rain against the normal 723.10 millimeters (mm). The weather has remained mainly dry for the last two days. However, a rain warning has been issued in Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts tomorrow i.e. Thursday. Along with this, a 'yellow' alert has also been issued for thunderstorms and lightning at different places in six out of 12 districts of the state.
Heavy rain predicted in Odisha
Heavy rains are likely at most places in 20 districts of Odisha for the next few days under the influence of a low pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal. The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains (7-11 cm) with thunderstorms at isolated places in 20 districts of the state on Thursday. Under the influence of a cyclonic circulation over central Bay of Bengal, a low pressure area has formed over west-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining northwest north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coasts.
As a result of the influence of the cyclonic circulation, heavy rains are very likely over Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Gajapati till September 26. Besides, thunderstorms are also likely at isolated places over Nuapada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi and Rayagada, the bulletin said.

Rain alert in many districts of Bengal
Due to the low pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal, light to moderate rain may occur in most places of West Bengal during the next two-three days. Heavy rain is also expected in some areas. The Meteorological Department has also warned of landslides in sensitive areas of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts. Due to the low pressure area, heavy rain is expected in many districts of South Bengal till September 26 and in North Bengal by the next day.
Heavy rain is likely in the districts of North and South 24 Parganas, East Medinipur, Murshidabad, Nadia, Birbhum, Hooghly, East and West Bardhaman, Bankura, Purulia and Jhargram of South Bengal during the period till September 26. Heavy rain is likely in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Malda, Alipurduar, North and South Dinajpur and Cooch Behar districts of North Bengal till September 27. While very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in the sub-Himalayan districts of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar.

Fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall is expected over Konkan and Goa, Gujarat region, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada during the next three days. Thereafter, scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall is expected over the entire region for the next four days. Similar rainfall is also expected over Saurashtra and Kutch throughout the week. Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds along with heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places are also likely on September 25. Fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall is expected over Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during the next three days, while scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall is expected over the subsequent four days. Similar rainfall is expected over Madhya Pradesh throughout the week. Over the next seven days, widespread light to moderate rainfall is expected over Northeast India and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
