This Airline did Emergency Landing in Delhi as Smoke Spreads in the Cockpit

An Ethiopian Airlines plane had to make an emergency landing at Delhi airport because there was smoke in the cockpit. The plane had over 240 passengers on board, and it was headed to the Ethiopian city of Addis Ababa. The flight number was ET 687, and it was operated by a Boeing 777-8 aircraft. It had to return to Delhi shortly after taking off. This emergency landing happened at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at around 3 am.

A passenger who was on the flight said that the plane came back to the airport right after takeoff because there was smoke in the cockpit. Some passengers got scared because of this situation. However, the airline has not released an official statement about what happened.

Just last month, there was an incident at the Delhi airport where the wings of an Ethiopian Airlines plane and an Air India plane collided. This occurred when the Ethiopian Airlines plane was moving backward for takeoff, and the Air India Airbus A320 was parked.
