There was a dream of becoming an IAS in those eyes… Where are Divyakirti, Ojha and other star gurus? People are searching for them

New Delhi : The country's capital. The country's capital cherishes the dream of becoming a world leader. It boasts of being a world-class city. In the same city, a promising student dies of electric shock while walking on the road, or dies by drowning in the water filled in the basement of a coaching centre. All this is happening in a world-class city. In the country's capital. Those eyes had the dream of becoming an IAS. Forget those dreams, those eyes, those lives were swallowed by the rotten system of the world-class city. This is shameful, but what is not more shameful is the silence of the so-called star gurus who trade in dreams. The silence of celebrity gurus like Vikas Divyakirti, Awadh Ojha, Alakh Pandey who run a 'factory' of making IAS, IPS, doctors, engineers etc. by taking thousands and lakhs of rupees per student. Three lives were lost by drowning in the basement of a coaching centre, but not a single word of sympathy came out of the mouth of these star gurus who impart knowledge on every subject of the world. In this era of social media, star gurus consider themselves no less than celebrities. Knowledge on every subject. Big talks. Addiction to reels. Less of a teacher in reels and more of a motivational speaker. Desire to appear as reels in every mobile. Eagerness to become famous in YouTube shorts. But these omniscient star gurus are silent on the death of students. As if this is not an issue for them. These dream merchants, who set up shops to build the future, make a career and make tomorrow, are silent on the death of those students who could have become IAS, IPS, big officers tomorrow. Students preparing for UPSC are angry with the death of their friends. They are protesting. They are raising questions. One of their questions is that where are Vikas Divyakirti, Awadh Ojha, Alakh Pandey and the rest of the star gurus. Those who call themselves celebrities. Dream merchants. He was hoping that these big celebrity artist gurus would come to support him. They will come to support him. Forget coming, they are not even saying two words of sympathy.

The coaching center market in India is expanding very fast. According to an estimate, the coaching industry is currently worth Rs 58,000 crore. It is estimated that by 2018 it will grow to a huge market of Rs 1.33 lakh crore. According to the Annual Status of Education Report 2022, 31 percent of students from class 1 to 8 in rural areas of the country go to private coaching classes. This figure is 71 percent in Bihar, 74 percent in Bengal and 45 percent in Jharkhand. From this, one can guess how extensive the market of coaching centers is for preparation of competitive examinations from class 1. There are many small coaching centers and private tuition centers and there are also many big coaching centers. They charge hefty fees from the students. It is very difficult for poor parents to educate their children in these coaching centers. But they also bear the burden of debt for the future of their children and send them to these coaching centers. With the hope that my son or daughter will become a big officer in the future, will become a big officer

Just imagine what the parents must be going through when they come to know that their son or daughter has drowned in the water filled in the basement of the coaching centre. These star gurus who run the business of shaping the future without any accountability on the lines of fortune tellers are not affected by the death of promising students. This is the reason why they have covered themselves with a thick blanket of shameless silence. Some gurus are definitely going to support the protesting students but the big names are missing.
