The Health Ministry has created a national portal called 'Suggestions to NTF' so that people from across the country can give suggestions. Ministry officials said that the link to the portal is available on the ministry's website and it has been activated from today itself. The suggestions received on the portal will be collected by the ministry so that the members of the NTF can consider them further.
The meeting was chaired by the Cabinet Secretary. During this, all the members including the Home Secretary and the Health Secretary were present. Officials said that the NTF members discussed various issues in detail and gave their suggestions. Members said that they were directly contacted by various stakeholders and they have personally received about 300 to 400 suggestions. Officials said, 'The Secretary (Health) will have a detailed discussion with the NTF members along with doctors and other medical staff.' He said that the states have also been requested to provide information about the security arrangements available in medical institutions and for this a 'Google Sheet' has been shared with the states.
