Terminal 3 of Lucknow Airport is ready, flights will start from March 31, hi-tech facilities

Lucknow, The new Terminal 3 of Lucknow Airport is ready. It will be inaugurated on March 31 and flights will start from there on the same day. The terminal is hi-tech. A glimpse of the Nawabi rule of Lucknow will also be seen in this.

Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International (CCSI) Airport is ready with its new Terminal 3. Compared to other terminals here, it is more beautiful and equipped with modern facilities. First of all, Akasa Air Lines will start its flights from here.

Akasa Airlines will be the first to shift its flights to Terminal 3 on the very first day and the terminal will open from 00:00 pm on 31 March 2024. Passengers will travel through the new terminal for the flights of this airline. Terminal 3 was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi this month. This terminal has been built at a cost of Rs 2,400 crore. 80 lakh passengers can travel from here every year. At the end of the second phase, this capacity will increase to 1.3 crore passengers per year.

Modern passenger facilities at T3
CCSI airport spokesperson Rupesh said that to provide a seamless experience to the passengers in Terminal 3, DigiYatra, adequate check-in counters, general purpose self-service kiosks, Automated Tray Retrieval System (ATRS), advanced baggage screening machines, baggage reclaim etc. Many special facilities will be available including belt and aerobridge. Currently, 28 domestic and 8 international airports are connected to this airport.

Terminal 3 is special
From the entrance of Terminal 3 to the boarding gate, a glimpse of the art of Uttar Pradesh can be seen here. Here the dazzling maps of 'Chikankari' and 'Mukaish' embroidery will welcome the travelers. Stories from epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata are also depicted here through graphics.
