Swara Bhaskar's daughter's first Bakrid
Earlier in the day, Swara had criticised a food blogger who expressed pride in being a vegetarian. The food blogger had shared a picture of vegetable fried rice with paneer dish and wrote in the caption, “I am proud to be a vegetarian. There are no tears, cruelty and guilt on my plate.”

Swara responded to the blogger by tweeting, “Honestly… I don't understand this arrogant self-righteousness of vegetarians. Your entire diet is made up of depriving a calf of its mother's milk… forcibly impregnating cows and then separating them. Aren't you stealing milk from their babies? Do you eat root vegetables? This destroys the entire plant, please relax as it's Bakrid.” Swara, who tied the knot with Fahadh in February, had announced her pregnancy in June.
