A new update has come out in the Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian murder case. There has been a shocking twist in this case in which Aditya Thackeray will be heard. The Chief Justice's bench will hear the PIL against Aditya Thackeray. The matter was put up for hearing before a division bench of Chief Justice Devendra Upadhyay and Justice Amit Borkar before July 31. The CBI and the state police will have to submit their status report and inform the High Court about the investigation in both the cases. The petition was filed in September 2023 by the 'Supreme Court and High Court and Litigants Association' through President Rashid Khan Pathan. After filing the said PIL, Maharashtra Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis constituted the SIT. The SIT comprised Police Commissioner Rajiv Jain, DCP Ajay Bansal and Senior PI Chimaji Adhav.

MLA Nitesh Rane objected to the inclusion of senior PI Chimaji Adhav in the SIT as he is posted at the Malvani police station. Secondly, activists questioned the integrity of PI Chimaji Adhav as he did not visit the spot of Disha Salian's death and did not file an FIR till date despite having sufficient evidence. He is accused of trying to save Aditya Thackeray.

disha saliyan case update

In the Disha Salian case, the former IO of Malvani police station is also accused of making a fake record of investigation. The PIL and three interim applications will be heard in the High Court on July 31 itself. In this PIL, the main suspect Aditya Thackeray had applied to add himself as party number 19336.

Rashid Khan filed a case

Since the affidavit filed by Aditya Thackeray was proven to be false, Rashid Khan Pathan, President of Supreme Court and High Court Litigation Association filed an application to take action against Aditya Thackeray and his lawyer under contempt and perjury.
