Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized once again that there is only one religion, and that is Sanatan Dharma. Speaking at a religious function, he stated that while there may be various sects and forms of worship, there exists only one religion—Sanatan Dharma. Adityanath highlighted that the strength of Sanatan Dharma lies in its ability to maintain vitality and persevere through diverse circumstances.

He asserted that Sanatan Dharma has endured as a religion because of its resilience, continuing its journey despite facing various challenges. Adityanath had previously made similar statements amidst a controversy involving Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s son, Udhayanidhi, who faced backlash for his comments against Sanatan Dharma.

Last year, Udhayanidhi had sparked controversy by calling for the eradication of Sanatan Dharma, comparing it to diseases like dengue and malaria. Yogi Adityanath had strongly defended Sanatan Dharma, considering it the “national religion of India” and emphasizing its significance in the country’s cultural fabric.

Adityanath’s repeated assertions regarding Sanatan Dharma reflect his commitment to promoting the values and heritage associated with this ancient tradition.
