Samsung is preparing for the launch of a new Fan Edition smartphone in India. The South Korean electronics giant has provided a teaser to offer some hints about the upcoming launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G in the country, although they haven’t confirmed the exact name yet. It has been confirmed that the phone will be available for sale in India through Amazon. The Galaxy S23 FE 5G is expected to be a modified version of the regular Galaxy S23. Reports suggest that it will run on the Exynos 2200 SoC, while the US variant might be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
Official Teaser and Amazon’s Hint
The company has officially teased the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G through a post on X (formerly known as Twitter). The teaser comes with the tagline “The new epic coming soon” and shows the rear portion of the device, featuring three camera sensors arranged vertically in circular modules. However, Samsung has not confirmed the exact name, launch date, or key specifications of the upcoming handset. In addition, Amazon has created a dedicated landing page on its website, further indicating the imminent India launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G.
Expected Launch and Features
Based on previous rumors, it is expected that the Galaxy S23 FE 5G will be unveiled later this month. The support page for the device is already live on Samsung’s India website. This Fan Edition phone is anticipated to draw design inspiration from the premium Galaxy S23 series. According to leaks, it will run on Android 13 and is likely to receive four years of OS updates along with five years of security patches. The phone is rumored to feature a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Variants and Camera Setup
In India, the Galaxy S23 FE 5G is expected to be powered by the Exynos 2200 SoC. However, in certain regions, it might come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The phone is rumored to sport a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), an 8-megapixel secondary camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. For selfies, there may be a 10-megapixel front-facing camera. It is also said to feature a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging and wireless charging.

The expected price for the 128GB storage variant of the Galaxy S23 FE 5G in India is Rs. 54,999, while the 256GB storage model may be priced at Rs. 59,999. In comparison, the Galaxy S23 was launched in India in February this year with a starting price of Rs. 74,999.
