Both the accused are residents of Majharia village in West Champaran, Bihar and are lodged in Taloja Central Jail in Mumbai. The brothers of both the accused had recently met them in jail. During this, Vicky and Sagar had expressed fear of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's henchmen and apprehension of a murder conspiracy.

Mention of Anuj Thapan in the letter, said- same will happen to us too

Anuj Thapan is also mentioned in the letter written to the jail officer, central government and state governments. Anuj, accused in the Salman Khan firing case, died in police custody. He allegedly hanged himself in jail. Now Vicky and Sagar, who fired, say that their condition may also be like Anuj Thapan.

'Salman has connections with gangsters, they want to kill us'

The lawyer said, “The lives of Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal are in danger. They have applied to the jail authorities for their safety. Both of them allege that Salman Khan has connections with a gangster. Perhaps he wants to kill both of them. We have written a letter to the Central Government, Maharashtra and Bihar Government for their safety.”

Vicky and Sagar were arrested from Gujarat

On April 14 this year, two bike riders opened fire outside Salman Khan's house at around 5 am. After this incident, Mumbai Police arrested accused Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal from Gujarat. During the investigation in this case, 32-year-old Anuj Thapan was arrested from Punjab on April 26, who died in custody.
