Sachin-Jigar weaved a string of Krishna tunes, wrote 20 songs for 'Rajadhiraj: Love, Life, Leela'

Music composer duo Sachin-Jigar, who have given one blockbuster song after another like 'Taras ni aaya tujhko…' from the film 'Munjya', then 'Aaj ki raat…' and 'Aayi nai…' from 'Stree 2', have done another feat. This duo has now composed 20 songs for the mega musical drama 'Rajadhiraj: Love, Life, Leela', which presents the life of Lord Krishna in musical form. In an exclusive conversation with 'Presswire18 Times', he said, 'Actually we had composed more than 20 tunes for this, there are so many songs in the drama. To be honest, we have done Gujarati, Hindi, English theatre for about 20 years and it was our dream to see theatre in such a grand manner someday. When we used to see their musical dramas abroad, we used to feel sad that why our stories cannot be told on stage with such grandeur.'

“We worked on this for a year and a half”

Sachin-Jigar further said, 'Now when the producers of this play Dhanraj Nathwani and Bhoomi Nathwani gave us this opportunity, we stopped counting. We worked on it for one and a half years but we never felt any tension. We are happy that finally our plays are reaching that grand style and we are a part of its initial phase.'

Old popular tunes are included

Talking about his songs for this grand play, he says, 'Since all the 20 songs in the play are new, so that people do not have difficulty in connecting, we have also kept some old popular tunes, like 'Ram Krishna Jai Jai' or 'Hare Ram Hare Krishna' or 'Yamuna Janm Kesar Honi' which is sung during bathing aarti in Gujarati. Our aim is to make the audience, especially the current generation, go away immersed in Krishna.'
Sachin-Jigar also revealed that all the 20 songs composed for 'Rajadhiraj: Love, Life, Leila' will be released soon on various music streaming platforms.
