Police Investigation and Cooperation
Police have sent a notice to Vikas Malu, the director of Kuber Group, after he got hurt in a crash involving a Rolls-Royce car and an oil tanker in Nuh district, Haryana. The police want him to help with the investigation. In the Rolls-Royce Car accident, the oil tanker driver and assistant passed away, and three people, including Vikas Malu, were injured.
Accident Details
The accident occurred on Tuesday, August 22, on the Delhi-Mumbai-Baroda Expressway in Umri village, Haryana. Vikas Malu is currently receiving treatment in a Gurugram hospital. The accident happened because the oil tanker was going the wrong way on the road, and the car collided with it. However, the FIR (First Information Report) stated that the car hit the front tire of the oil tanker from behind, causing the tanker to overturn.
Notice Sent for Rash Driving and Negligence
The police sent a notice about the FIR, which was filed under sections 279 (reckless driving), 337 (causing injury by careless driving), and 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), as reported by Aaj Tak. The FIR was based on Munil Yadav’s complaint, who was in the oil tanker at the time of the accident. The FIR explained that the speeding car hit the tanker’s front tire, leading to the overturn.
Fatalities and Hospitalization
Two people from the tanker, Rampreet and Kuldeep, tragically lost their lives due to the accident. Vikas Malu was taken to a private hospital in Gurugram and will provide his statement after being released from the hospital.
