New Delhi. Rinku Singh has been rewarded for his excellent performance in the UP T20 League. This batsman from Uttar Pradesh has been called for the Duleep Trophy. Now Rinku Singh will be seen playing for India B in the Duleep Trophy. India B will face India C from September 12. India C has defeated India D a day earlier.
Four teams are participating in the Duleep Trophy. India A, India B, India C and India D. Players from all over the country have been divided into these four teams. All the teams have played one match each. Now the second round of the tournament will start from September 12. Before this round, many players have left the Duleep Trophy and joined the Indian team. These players include KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant played for India B in the Duleep Trophy. All three will now be seen playing in the India-Bangladesh series. Due to these three, India B's batting has suddenly become weak, to strengthen which Rinku Singh has been called. According to the Times of India, Rinku Singh said, 'My job is to work hard and I am happy that I have been called to play in the Duleep Trophy. Initially, when the teams were announced for the Duleep Trophy, my name was not in it. I was disappointed by this. But today I am very happy because now I will play for India B in the Duleep Trophy.'
26-year-old Rinku Singh is currently participating in the UP T20 League. He is the captain of Meerut Mavericks. Rinku Singh is in great form and has scored a century in the T20 league. Talking about the overall record, Rinku Singh has played 23 T20 and two ODI matches for India. He has scored 418 runs in 23 T20 matches at an average of 59.71. In just a few matches, Rinku has created his image as an excellent finisher.
