CTET August 2023 Important Guidelines
If you are preparing to appear in the upcoming Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) scheduled for tomorrow, these guidelines are essential for you. Here, we outline the important factors to consider before and during the exam, ensuring a smooth and successful examination experience. Failure to adhere to these regulations could result in being barred from taking the exam. Let’s delve into the details.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Conducts CTET
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test tomorrow. Admit cards for this examination were released by the board recently. These admit cards can be downloaded from the official website ctet.nic.in. It’s crucial for candidates to carefully review the instructions outlined in the admit card before heading to the examination center. Notably, entry to the exam hall will be denied without a valid admit card.
Key Considerations for CTET
- Examination Timing and Shifts: The CTET exam will be held in two shifts. Candidates must arrive at the exam center on time. Latecomers will not be granted entry. Candidates appearing for the morning shift need to reach the center by 7:30 am, while those for the afternoon shift must be at the exam center by 12:30 pm. The morning shift will take place from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, and the afternoon shift will occur from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
- Seating Arrangements: Upon reaching the exam center, candidates are required to sit in the designated seat with their assigned roll number. Deviating from this seating arrangement is not permitted.
- Prohibited Items: Candidates are strictly prohibited from bringing stationery items, electronic pens/scanners, calculators, scales, writing pads, pen drives, and similar items into the exam hall. Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, and watches are also strictly forbidden. Possession of such items will result in disqualification.
- Use of Rough Sheets: Candidates are allowed to use the rough sheets provided in the exam hall for calculations and notes. However, these sheets must be submitted at the end of the examination.
As you prepare for the CTET, ensure strict adherence to these guidelines. Arrive on time, carry your admit card, follow seating instructions, and refrain from carrying any prohibited items. By complying with these regulations, you can contribute to the fair and organized conduct of the CTET and enhance your chances of success. Best of luck!
Remember, staying informed and adhering to the rules is key to a successful CTET examination experience.
