This beauty from Delhi made her acting debut in the year 2009 with the Kannada film 'Gilli'. Now Rakul has made many shocking revelations in an interview. The actress told that even before the release of her first Telugu film 'Venkatadri Express', she was replaced overnight from two films. The special thing is that one of these had Prabhas. Moreover, Rakul told that she was first cast in Mahendra Singh Dhoni's biopic 'MM Dhoni: The Untold Story', but later this role was given to Disha Patani. In Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast, Rakul spoke openly about her film career. During this, she also mentioned nepotism in South cinema and Bollywood. The actress also told that the Telugu film in which she was working with Prabhas, its four-day shooting had been completed.
Four days of shooting was done for Prabhas's film
Rakul said, “Before my debut, I was removed from a film after four days of shooting. It was a Telugu film with Prabhas. But sometimes, when you don't know much about the industry or the way it works, you don't take it to heart. There is a beauty in innocence and naivety. I was so naive then that I thought, 'Oh, well they fired me? Never mind, maybe this wasn't for me, I'll do something else.'

'My mind was not filled with poison because of my innocence'
The actress further said that when you are not corrupt, people start surrounding you. They tell you why this happened to you, all these things work to poison your mind. But then there was no one around her. She says that this 'innocence' of hers prevented her from thinking anything negative.

Rakul Preet further said about being replaced, 'I came to know that the producer had realized that the scale of the film is big. In such a situation, it was better to cast a popular actress in that role instead of a new actress. However, I was not told anything about this. I finished my schedule and went to Delhi and later I came to know about this.'
Rumors started flying when she was replaced from another big movie
Rakul tells that the same thing happened with her in another project. But it had not been shot yet. She had just signed the film. She says, 'When this happens with two big films, a perception starts forming, rumours start coming out, people start wondering if you are being replaced because there is a problem with your attitude or you do not know how to act. I knew that I would not get the first big launch, I had to work my way up and then, I started with a small film which proved to be a big hit.'

Dhoni's biopic had to be rejected due to date issues
In the same interview, Rakul Preet Singh also revealed that she was going to be seen in Mahendra Singh Dhoni's biopic with Sushant Singh Rajput. She had signed this film directed by Neeraj Pandey. But she left the project due to date issues. She says, 'It was the same role that was later played by Disha Patani.'

'Bruce Lee: The Fighter' was releasing in a month and two songs were left to be shot. So, I couldn't adjust both the films together. Yes, I cried because I missed such a good film.”
