Ali Fazal recently welcomed a daughter with his wife Richa Chadha. He won the hearts of fans with his role of Guddu Pandit in his previous series 'Mirzapur Season 3'. Now, as per the latest report, Ali Fazal has bagged the lead role opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 'Rakt Universe'. Talking about this series directed by Raj and DK, the report further states that the director duo is coming together again and will make this 6-part series. As per a Bollywood Hungama report, the entire cast of the show has been finalised and the shooting of this 6-part series is set to begin next week in Mumbai. Ali is set to shoot for the series throughout August and will also do his other projects. As per reports, the cast of the show also includes Aditya Roy Kapur and Vamika Gabbi. The film also stars Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma and Fatima Sana Shaikh, and will release in theatres on November 29, 2024.

Apart from this, Ali will also be seen in 'Lahore in 1947'. The film stars Preity Zinta and Sunny Deol in lead roles, with Preity Zinta announcing the completion of its shooting in June earlier this year. Apart from him, Ali is also a part of Mani Ratnam's 'Thug Life', a South Korean period-action film starring Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George and Nassar.
