New Delhi. The last match of ICC T20 World Cup Super 8 is being played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. This match will decide the name of the last team to reach the semi-finals. Afghanistan team, who won the toss and came to bat first, could score only 115 runs for 5 wickets against Bangladesh. Rishad Hussain kept Bangladesh in the match by taking 3 wickets. The equations are changing for both the teams in the rain-interrupted match.

The Afghanistan team has made a big upset by defeating Australia and has staked its claim for the semi-finals. After losing to India, the Kangaroo team's hopes of progressing have suffered a major setback. Now everything depends on the match between Afghanistan and Bangladesh. The equation of the semi-finals before the match has changed due to rain. The Bangladesh team had to win this match before 13 overs, which now seems to be changing.

Rain can change the equation
When the semi-final battle between Afghanistan and Bangladesh started, the equation was fixed for 20-20 overs. The Afghan team batted first and scored 115 runs for 5 wickets, which Bangladesh had to win before 13 overs. If they had succeeded in doing so, the team would have reached the semi-finals on the basis of better net run rate. After Afghanistan's batting, rain started in the match and it had to be stopped for some time.

If the match is decided in 15 overs instead of 20 overs, then Bangladesh will have to score 94 runs in 7.2 overs. If the number of overs in the match is reduced further, then the equation can change. Bangladesh's target in the semi-finals is clear that it will have to defeat Afghanistan with at least 40 balls remaining.
